On the evening of June 18 at the Marriott Hotel in San Diego, capital of Chile, the first overseas workshop of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Smarter Energy”, stock code: 600869) to promote the company was successfully held. Smarter Energy took the workshop as a window and opportunity to precisely target core customers of target industries in South America, introduce the mission and vision of the company, recommend its products and services, and help customers further understand its brand and promote the company to usher in the international market.

The workshop brought together more than 20 corn targeted industries and more than 50 top executives.

Andres, Chile"s former Minister of Energy spoke of friendly trade relations between China and Chile, and opportunities for energy projects in Chile amid decarbonization in the future. Andres said that the market in Chile is transparent, open and extremely interesting. He hoped that the company could seize the development opportunities to enjoy better development prospects in the cable projects and energy fields in Chile and neighboring countries.

Chen Jing first extended a warm welcome to the guests attending the workshop in Santiago, Chile. Chen noted that Chile is the first South American country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, the friendly partnership between the two countries have developed rapidly, with economic and trade cooperation expanding quickly, and thus the bilateral ties are getting even closer. Smarter Energy has been engaged in businesses in Chile for many years. In 2007, the company began to import copper from Chile as the main raw material for cable production, and Chile was the first overseas market embracing its 220KV ultra-high voltage cable product. As one of the most developed countries in Latin America, Chile is rich in mineral resources, forests, tourism and fishery resources, and it also proposed a national strategy to expedite the development of renewable energy via de-carbonization. It is the most strategically potential market for Smart Energy in Latin America. Chen Jing also said she is looking forward to more in-depth exchanges and cooperation with the attendees, believing that in the near future, Smart Energy will certainly make great achievements in Chile.

Wang Fan introduced the main business, vision and overseas layout of the company to the attendees at the workshop. Wang said Chile is an extremely important market for the company in Latin America and hoped to leverage Chile to drive the market in its neighboring countries including Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and also wished the company can become an important partner of Chile in the field of energy infrastructure construction.

At the workshop,Smart Energy signed strategic cooperation agreements with Chile-based enterprises. Both sides pledged to push forward cooperation on mining and clean energy projects. The success of the workshop greatly enhanced the brand influence of Smart Energy in South America, especially in Chile.The company will take cable manufacturing as its main business to facilitate exports of EPC and complete projects to overseas markets. It will strive to tap into the market in Chile and taking it as a springboard to expand its market in the surrounding South American countries.
